The sculpture “L’Éveil des sens“ – “Awakening of the sens“ of the Pavés

universe, selected for this 22th contemporary art contest organized by the gallery of the Christiane Peugeot space in the 17th district of Paris.

On that occasion, 80 artists reunited by a common theme organized in 9 distinctive fields: figurative painting, abstract painting, figurative sculptor, abstract sculpture, photography, drawing, graphs, numerical art.

Some history:

A place to think about creation… 

The Christiane Peugeot space was funded in 1991 by Christiane Peugeot, in the honore of her friend painter Zévaco. Open to all forms of art and culture, the Center favors promotion of artists of all ages and welcomes painters, sculptors, photographers, plasticians, filmmakers, musicians, writers, philosophers, scientists… With them it organizes prestigious international manifestations of contemporary art.

Located between the arc de Triomphe and the Défense neighborhood, within the 250 m2 space of its gallery the Center welcomes and organizes artistic events (about 20 exhibits per year, either individual or collective, and presents conferences on a multiplicity of topics, concerts of classical or modern music, dance performances, readings and book signing).
